SUP/Kayak Rental (1 Person/rental, 3hrs)

Service Description

Experience the Boise River via Stand-Up-Paddleboard (SUP) or Kayak! Meet at our rental shack at 400 W. Parkcenter Blvd. where we will outfit you. One person per watercraft. The rental includes watercraft, paddle, shuttle, and PFD for those 14 and under. We will drive you 15 minutes to your launch point and you will paddle 2 miles on the Boise River with relatively calm water. It is recommended to not get out on the river banks as it is private land beyond the water line. The trip begins at Boise Diversion Dam and ends at Barber Dam. These dams are over 100 years old! and one has had significant safety issues in the past as it has been in a FERC relicensing process for over 6 years. A BROO rental employee will drive shuttle and support your group at the start point and at the end point. It is strictly enforced that BROO employees are not allowed to be on the water with your group and can only support at the start and end of the trip.
